Japan booth at the 6th Nairobi International Cultural Festival

On the 12^th of May 2018, the Embassy of Japan in Kenya through the Japan Information and Culture Centre took part in the 6th Nairobi International Cultural Festival, held at the National Museums of Kenya. The Japan booth, which was among 15 other countries, was centred on the theme ‘Old meets New Japan’. The booth showcased traditional cultural items, food culture in Japan, Japanese tea tasting, Origami and Shodo arts, a Karate performance and Japanese pop culture and cosplay.
