Courtesy call to the Ambassador by 12 Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV)
who are dispatched from Japan to Kenya since July 2019
On Thursday, July 25, 2019, 12 Japanese volunteers paid a courtesy call on H. E. Ambassador Ryoichi Horie at the Embassy of Japan in Kenya.
Mr. Awaji Yuta will work with local teachers in Uasin Gishu.
Mr. Ohnishi Kenichiro will work with county officials in Migori.
Mr. Kanda Ko will work with officials in Narok.
Mr. Nishiyama Hiroki will work with county officials in Luanda.
Mr. Matsubara Yoshihide will work with local teachers in Kisumu.
Ms. Usami Megumi will work with local teachers in Kericho.
Ms. Kurihara Haruka will work with officials in Uasin Gishu.
Ms. Takezaki Mariko will work with officials in Homa bay.
Ms. Hasenaka Shiho will work with local teachers in Embu.
Ms. Hirose Ayumi will work on Environmental Education with officials of the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
Ms. Yagishita Emiko will work with local teachers in Nakuru.
Ms. Noda Manami will teach in Kiambu.
Ambassador Horie encouraged the volunteers to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities with a view to cultivate friendship and mutual understanding between Kenya and Japan.
