2019 Japanese Movie Festival

The Japanese Movie Festival was held at the Japan Information and Culture Centre, Embassy of Japan on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21, 2019.

Four animated movies were shown during the two day festival. These were: Typhoon Noruda, a youth school fantasy short film that depicts two estranged friends encounter with a mysterious girl, Princess Arete a drama that follows the adventures of a sheltered princess, Time of Eve a story that explores the complex relationships between human beings and their android robots and Pop in Q, a fantasy film about five girls struggling to transition from middle school to high school coming together to save the world from peril.
