Joint Workshop between Kenya and Japan

20 September 2019, Nairobi – A joint workshop between Kenyan and Japanese professors and researchers from different universities was held at the Japan Information & Culture Centre, Embassy of Japan.
During the workshop, representatives from 3 universities in Kenya and Japanese universities made presentations about their proposing collaborative research projects. This was followed by a series of discussions that allowed the participants to exchange their opinions and ideas on possible mutually beneficial academic collaboration between Kenya and Japan.
In his welcome remarks, Ambassador Horie indicated that he believed that the continuation of scientific collaboration is important for the further enhancement of our two countries’ relations by the collective wisdom of our two nations.
