On 25th of October 2019, H.E. Ambassador Ryoichi Horie visited Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Kenya Research Station of Nagasaki University Institute of Tropical Medicine. He also attended the Third Country Training Program of “Strengthening Laboratory Preparedness for Building Resilience Against Public Health Emergencies in Eastern Africa” which took place at KEMRI.
Ambassador Horie exchanged his views with Prof. Yeri Kombe, Director General of KEMRI, and expressed his expectations for continuous growth of KEMRI as a main Medical Research Institute in Africa.
