Ambassador Horie paid a courtesy call to Mr. Mwangi Kiunjuri, Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries

On 30th October, H.E. Ambassador Horie Ryoichi paid a courtesy call to Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri, Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. CS Kiunjuri expressed his appreciation for the Kenya-Japan partnership in the Agriculture Sector. Ambassador Horie mentioned that Japan intended to continue its support to rice production and blue economy and kick off discussions for lifting import ban on Avocado that was newly requested from Kenya, in which the economic relationship between two countries would be more deepened.
