Ambassador OKANIWA Ken attends the Official Opening Ceremony of the Japanese Movie Festival 2022

On 18th November 2022, Ambassador OKANIWA Ken attended the official opening ceremony of the Japanese Movie Festival 2022. Also in attendance was a team from the Kenya Film Commission led by the CEO, Mr. Timothy Owase.
The Festival, held from November 18 to November 20, promoted understanding of Japan through movies.
The Festival featured six Japanese movies with English subtitles, a workshop with the Kenya Film Commission including an interactive session for youth, and Japanese culture experience sessions.
