On 26 January 2023, Ambassador OKANIWA received a courtesy call by 14 newly arrived Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers . They will be dispatched to various parts of Kenya to work in the field of agriculture, education, health, water and youth welfare and urban planning, etc..
