Ambassador OKANIWA Ken visits Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute in Mombasa County

On 12th May 2023, H.E. Ambassador OKANIWA Ken visited the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI). The Ambassador was briefed about the marine products produced in the country, the trend of production volume, aquaculture research, and current issues by Dr. James Mwaluma Ag. Deputy Director, Marine and Coastal Systems. After that, the Ambassador visited the Mtwapa District of Kilifi County and exchanged opinions with locals who are engaged in fishing.
