Ambassador OKANIWA Ken visits Japanese Project sites in Mombasa

On 21st November 2023, Ambassador OKANIWA Ken visited Japanese ODA project site in Mombasa with U.S.Ambassador Meg Whitman. They visited together the Dongo Kundu SEZ site and Mombasa Southern Bypass.
Through their visit to Mombasa Port area, developed with Japan's cooperation, both ambassadors reaffirmed the strategic importance of Mombasa in relation to the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)”.
