On 9 September 2024, Ambassador OKANIWA received a courtesy call by 11 recipients of the Fiscal Year 2024 MEXT scholarship at the Embassy of Japan. Ambassador OKANIWA expressed his best wishes for their success and offered the students words of encouragement.
