Handing Over Ceremony for “The Project for the Construction of a Classroom Block at Kabuku Primary School, Kiambu County”

On 17th September 2024, H.E. Mr. OKANIWA Ken, Ambassador of Japan to Kenya, attended a handing over ceremony for the construction of a classroom block at Kabuku Primary School in Limuru sub-county, Kiambu County. Hon. Eng. John Kiragu Chege, Member of Parliament in Limuru, and Ambassador Macharia Kamau, Former Principal Secretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also attended and celebrated the successful completion of the project.
The Embassy of Japan provided the School about 18 million Kshs through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) to construct a new classroom block of eight classrooms. It is expected that the newly constructed classrooms will provide a safe and better learning environment and lead to better academic performance of the students.
