On 17 August 2026, H.E. Ambassador MATSUURA received a courtesy call from eight Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) who had completed their service. He expressed his appreciation to the departing volunteers and encouraged them to make the most of their experience in Kenya upon their return to Japan.
