Over 150 cards made for the earthquake victims by the students
On 29th February 2012, the Director of Japan Information and Culture Centre (JICC), Ms. Miki Ugajin made a visit to Riara Springs Primary School. The visit was to express gratitude to the students who sent condolence cards to the victims of the March 11th earthquake.

Ms. Ugajin was warmly received by all the students of the school. She delivered statement of appreciation for their warm messages to the victims. She also stated that the reconstruction of the most affected area has made steady progress. At the end of the visit, Ms. Ugajin gave some gifts in the form of stationary to the representatives.
