H.E. Mr Shigeo IWATANI, Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya and Mr Richard KWOBA, Chairperson of Nalondo Secondary School Board of Governors, signed the Grant Contract amounted to 96,921 US Dollars for the project for the expansion of Nalondo Secondary School. On the same occasion, the ambassador donated 3,000 “Olyset net” impregnated mosquito nets to the people of Bungoma. The donation was made possible through the support of a Japanese Chemical company, Sumitomo Chemical Co. Ltd based in Arusha. To witness the occasion was the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mr. Moses Wetangula among other dignitaries |

The major objective of this project is to alleviate classrooms shortage and to provide a conducive environment for the teachers and the administration in Nalondo Secondary School. |
