Mr. Seiji OKADA, Deputy Chief of Mission to the Republic of Kenya and Mr. David LETUATI, Chairperson of Narok Pillar of Hope, signed the Grant Contract amounted to 82,926 US Dollars for the project for the expansion of Narok Pillar of Hope.

The grant aid was provided through Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security program (GGP) to construct new Voluntary Testing and  Counseling Center and to purchase a vehicle for the mobile VCT/Clinic.

Upon completion of the project, Pillar of Hope can expand its activities to larger population in need of HIV/AIDS testing and care. The purchase of vehicle enables the organization to regularly visit wider communities far from the medical facilities in Narok North and South district as well as hotels and lodges in Masai Mara.
