Ambassador OKANIWA Ken visits small-scale farmers receiving WFP/JICA support in Nakuru County

On 30th March, H.E. Ambassador OKANIWA Ken visited co-operated project between 1) Farm to Market Alliance Project aimed at transitioning smallholder farmers to commercial farming supported by WFP and 2) JICA SHEP - Biz Project aimed at increasing the income of small-scale farmers through market-oriented agriculture in Nakuru County.
According to the farming group, benefits such as the cultivation of more profitable crops became possible through the SHEP project.
