Signing Ceremony for the Project for “Peace building through empowerment of youth in Eastleigh, Nairobi, Kenya”

On 3rd March 2020, H.E. Mr. HORIE Ryoichi, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Kenya, signed, on behalf of the Government of Japan, a grant contract with the Japanese NGO, Japan Center for Conflict Prevention (JCCP), amounting to 631,635 US Dollars.
 
The contract was signed to facilitate the implementation of the “Peace building through empowerment of youth in Eastleigh, Nairobi, Kenya”. The project aims to prevent radicalization of youth between the ages of 14 and 35 years via human resource development and establishment of mechanism which addresses issues that make the youth vulnerable to violent extremism.
