The signing ceremony of the Grant Contract for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP)

On 17th August, 2021, the signing ceremony of the Grant Contract for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. The Grant Contract was signed by H.E. Mr. HORIE Ryoichi, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Kenya and Mr. Stephen Abebe, CEO of Integrated Development Facility (IDF).

IDF received a grant of approximately Ksh 11.7 million (USD 114,224.00) from the Government of Japan. The organisation in collaboration with YAMAHA Motor Co., Ltd. will supply clean water in Seka Kagwa Village in Homa Bay County by installing a water purification facility.

Upon completion of the projects, it is expected that more than 15,000 residents will benefit from the facility. The Embassy hopes for successful completion of the projects.
