Counsellor Kitagawa attends the Closing Ceremony of the United Nations Triangular Partnership Project (UNTPP) at the Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) in Nairobi

On 15th March, the closing ceremony of the United Nations Triangular Partnership Project (UNTPP) at the Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) was held and Counsellor Kitagawa attended the ceremony.
The UNTPP is a programme initiated by Japan in 2015 to support UN peacekeeping operations, and is highly appreciated by the UN. During the training (1.19 - 3.15), 20 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force officers served as instructors in the HPSS to train 35 PKO personnel from Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana.
At the ceremony, Counsellor Kitagawa spoke of the role of the UNTPP as one of Japan's efforts to achieve peace and stability in the international community through the United Nations.
