Japanese Language Class for Teachers and Intermediate Level Students

Ms. IDE Reina, a Japanese language lecturer dispatched by the Japan Foundation to Kenyatta University is conducting a Japanese language class for teachers and intermediate level students of Japanese. This class is offered to those who are at level N4 or higher in the JLPT exam and cannot find an appropriate commercial college to learn higher level Japanese.

The class is held at the Japan Information & Culture Centre (JICC), Embassy of Japan. Further details about the class are as below:
  • Date and Time: Every Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm
  • Venue: JICC Conference Room, Embassy of Japan
  • Cost:  Free
  • Proficiency: JLPT Level N4 and above
  • Content: Intermediate Japanese/Kanji/Speech
  • Class Size: 10 students (maximum) | Expected Regular Attendance: 3 to 4 students

  1. **Registration so that we can anticipate your attendance.
    • To register, kindly call (+254 (020) 2898 510) or email (jinfocul@nb.mofa.go.jp) with the following information:
      • Full Name
      • National ID Number
  2. Register a normal temperature at the main security desk.
  3. Sanitise your hands as you enter the JICC Conference Room.
  4. Wear a face mask correctly at all times.
Please note that the in person intermediate Japanese language class may change depending on the COVID-19 situation. Should there be any changes, we will put out a notice on our various platforms (Facebook and Twitter Pages, and our JINFOCUL Mailing List).
