The signing ceremony of the Grant Contract for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP)

On 10th March 2020, the signing ceremony of the Grant Contract for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held at the Embassy of Japan. The Grant Contract was signed by H.E. Mr. HORIE Ryoichi, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Kenya and the representative of Arise and Shine Care Centre.
Arise and Shine Care Centre will receive a grant of approximately Ksh 8.4 million (USD 88,698) from the Government of Japan. It will be used for upgrade of the educational facilities at Nyang Primary School by constructing eight classrooms, eight-door pit latrines, provision of furniture and a water tank.
Upon completion of the projects, about 280 pupils will benefit from the improved educational environment. The Embassy hopes for successful completion of the projects.
